Lovely hotel. We had a fantastic room with a wonderful wonderful view. Excellent service, excellent breakfast with indoor and outdoor pool, spa treatments, free water in the lobby. It was a fantastic experience to be able to stay here and highly recommend it. The hotel staff were excellent at recommending where to eat and go. Bela vista on the river is fantastic - wonderful food, service at a bargain price!

The location near Convento de Cristo made exploring easy. The spacious grounds and gardens stood out. I enjoyed the lovely indoor/outdoor pools with a nice way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast offered a decent variety, but I found some items served lukewarm. The room had a big balcony, perfect for enjoying the view but the furnishings felt outdated. The WiFi worked well in common areas, but my room had poor connectivity.

Huge crowds came in 3 bus loads. Dining room too crowded. Coffee area had a long line.

A large hotel with large public areas and large rooms. It has all modcons, although not fully new. Very comfortable, in a good location to the older part of town and to the convent. We had a good meal in the restaurant, and used the pool. Staff were most helpful.

Location was convenient.
Car parking is very difficult and hotel staff were not helpful in suggesting where the closest available public parking was. Rooms were dark and on street side traffic noise was high. Breakfast was OK but did not appear to be fresh.

It is an excellent location for see the old town of Tomar and all its main atractions. We did not find any 'expensive' restuarants but what we found was good. We were also surprised that eating and drinking was inexpensive.

Spacious, modern hotel with beautiful parkland surroundings and fine views of the Convent of Christ. The indoor and outdoor pools are both inviting, and the buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including delicious pastries and fresh fruit. Staff is attentive.

The hotel was extremely nice, we had a large room with a view of the river. The air conditioning was very welcome as it was unusually hot. The pool was excellent, with towels provided and it was never crowded. The breakfast buffet was very good and we are vegetarians, so we don't expect much to be available for us. The mini bar and hotel bar were reasonably priced but we did not use the restaurant. it is a very short walk into the old part of Tomar which we found to have plenty of bars and cafes and a pleasant square. The Templar connection is everywhere in Tomar and it was good to visit the Convent. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
The spa prices were prohibitive which was a shame, because everything else was so reasonable.

Superb, very efficient staff. Nice rooms. Excellent secure parking for our motorbikes. Food OK. Excellent breakfast. Great location.
It was neither modern nor period, but quite grand with opulent furnishings. Nothing wrong with that but it was a bit too big for our personal tastes. For the size of the hotel, the pool was far too small. Consequently it was very busy and there were no sunbeds.
